What is published on fernandoarrieta.org is attributed to me, unless a piece identifies another author. This notice provides the context needed to read, cite or question that content.

1. Personal nature of the site

fernandoarrieta.org is my personal and editorial website. I am responsible for its content. Each text expresses the analysis and scope declared on the page itself, with the relevant date and sources.

The institutions with which I have professional ties have their own websites, responsible parties and channels. A publication on this domain is not an official communication from those organisations.

2. Public role and position

I am an auditor, writer and editor. I also chair the International Accreditation Center (IAC). I declare this position because it provides relevant context for evaluating what I publish.

When I act on behalf of the IAC, the institutional nature and corresponding channel must be expressly identified. On this domain, I write in a personal capacity; if a page refers to an institutional communication, it must link to its official source.

3. Institutional separation and impartiality

I adopt my own policy of separation between personal authorship, professional activity and institutional communication. This policy applies as follows:

• I bear editorial responsibility for the opinions and analyses published on this domain.
• Official communications from the IAC and any other organisation are made through their official channels.
• The mention of an institution, standard, company or person is interpreted within the context of the piece; on its own, it does not imply representation, sponsorship or endorsement.

My position at the IAC and my professional auditing activity are public ties that may be relevant depending on the topic discussed. I declare them here and, when they directly affect a piece, they must also be indicated there.

• The site does not issue certifications, accreditations, rulings or institutional decisions.
• The content is not a substitute for legal advice, a commissioned professional assessment or a statement by a competent authority.
• References to third parties are for informational or critical purposes and do not in themselves create a commercial or institutional relationship.
• Client and organisational confidentiality is maintained, except for information that is already public or for which express permission to identify it has been given.

The scope of each piece ends where the evidence it cites ends. If a claim depends on non-public information or an institutional role, it must be presented through the appropriate channel.
