There are topics where offering a quick opinion costs little and correcting it late costs dearly. An evidence audit is useful when a public claim needs more care than a reaction.
It does not turn the reader into a judge or replace a formal authority. It organises what can be said, shows what is missing and avoids forcing a conclusion.
In noisy times, that caution is not weakness. It is professional skill.

What is claimed must be demonstrated, or not claimed at all
Actor, date, criterion, scope and validity allow a technical claim to be reconstructed. The absence of any one does not make the rest false; it reduces what can be concluded and requires the limitation to be stated.
OpenAI under the microscope · ISO 42001, 27001 and 9001 documentary audit
Desk audit of public evidence as of 26 April 2026: strong support for ISO/IEC 27001 within a limited scope, medium-high support for ISO/IEC 42001 without a verifiable external certificate, low support for ISO 9001. The controls exist; traceability between standard, certificate, legal entity, dates and covered services is scattered across sources that do not speak the same language.
