The auditor precedes the method
The checklist closed the item with two pieces of evidence in order. The machine log said nine months where the policy stated three. That finding was not prompted by the method · it was prompted by judgement. The auditor is the one who governs that order.
The three types of auditor
First, second and third parties produce three statements with different weight in the eyes of third parties. A board that buys one believing it is buying another pays the difference on the day of the incident.
Technical trust · evidence, scope and responsibility
A brand does not produce technical trust. Nor does a standalone certificate or an institutional statement. It is produced by a chain that anyone can examine: what is claimed, against which criterion, within what scope, with what evidence, from when, until when and who is accountable.
